As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:26, 30). Christ’s commission of the Apostles has the same character as His own commission from the Father. He breathes on them, granting the Holy Spirit to them, unifying their life and mission with that of the Holy Trinity.
